Spider-Man Far From Home
From Fury tech to Stark tech, and functional to super-advanced UI, this project for Marvel Studios was a UI fanatic’s dream! With technology at its helm, featuring heavily from start to finish, we felt quite at home working on this billion dollar summer blockbuster.
Working closely with VFX production to character-led briefs and colour palettes, we created screens and holographic concepts for key scenes, to help support some quite complex visual storytelling. Matching the tech to personalities was fundamental in our designs; to reflect Fury’s attitude, we created functional, utilitarian tech, but distinct from S.H.I.E.L.D. with a slightly DIY feel. And a familiar but evolved design language based on Tony Stark’s F.R.I.D.A.Y. glasses for Peter's E.D.I.T.H. glasses interface, to feel like an evolution of Stark’s work, whilst ensuring optimal technical abilities from the user's POV.
